Abstract

In 1918, Malcolm A. Smith conducted a herpetological expedition to the Lang Bian Plateau in southern Vietnam and over 20 new taxa of reptiles and amphibians were described based on the collections. However, many collecting sites from the journey have caused confusion for contemporary herpetologists. Here, we clarify all locations mentioned by Smith and assemble all species recorded by him during his expedition.
