Abstract
New information presented on Indian egg-eater (Elachistodon westermanni) from two new localities of Gujarat State; Kharaghoda and Rajula. The habitat of both localities is arid dry thorny scrub and coastal mix scrub Prosophis, along with agricultural fields from western state of India. Now, yield information shows that the species is very widely distributed in India (Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pardesh, Uttaranchal, Bihar and West Bengal), Nepal (Chitwan) and Bangladesh (Rangpur).
