Abstract


Unpublished manuscript of Paul V. Terentjev concerning description of the new species of frog from China (Rana czarevskyi) was found. The complete text of this paper with some comments is presented. Rana czarevskyi is treated as a junior synonym of Rana (Pelophylax) plancyi Lataste, 1880, a species from Rana (Pelophylax) nigromaculata group.
