An Annotated Catalogue of the Amphibian Types in the Collection of the Zoological Institute, Russian Academy of Sciences, St. Petersburg

Abstract


A complete catalogue is provided of the type specimens of amphibians in the herpetological collection of the Zoological Institute, Russian Academy of Sciences, St. Petersburg. The collection contains 513 type specimens representing 103 taxa in 18 families under consideration. Of these 69 taxa are currently recognized as valid species or subspecies.
